Strange things have been happening lately. New York City, once again in a crime wave, has been particularly hounded by the Foot Clan once again. For the past two weeks, priceless artifacts mystical in origin have been taken from museums by the Foot in order to open a portal to another world.
On the Shredder's orders.
The Shredder, although supposedly killed by the TMNT a few years back, has clung to life through mystical means. Slowly regaining his consciousness, he has sought out his old clan and allied himself once more. Temporarily possessing a body of a Foot Ninja, he has designs on this other world -- called Rathia -- where magic is very much alive. Attempting to contact a necromancer, or one who could raise him from the dead, the Shredder accidentally pulls several beings from the world right into the Foot Clan's midst.
However, this portal become unstable. Although it closes, at random times and in random places it opens once more to deposit an inhabitant or two in the middle of New York City. Though the Shredder has ordered them to be hunted down, some have allied themselves with the Foot in order for protection in this new world as well as a way back when they have satisfied the Shredder.
Will the Shredder win, and will the Rathians make it back home -- or even survive in this harsh new world?
